The main duties of the Highway Technical Support Officer are: Provide technical and administrative support within transport and infrastructure service teams. Deliver advice and guidance to members of the public, customers, councillors, and stakeholders on highways and transport related matters. Maintain and update accurate technical data across highways, traffic management, asset management, and adoption systems. Support the management of customer enquiries and correspondence within agreed service timescales using CRM systems. Assist with the preparation, tracking, and monitoring of works orders and related documentation. Support budget monitoring processes and management reporting requirements. Help produce management information and performance reports to support service delivery.
