My client is looking for a Senior Engineer to join their project delivery team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to take technical ownership of works on highways and infrastructure schemes whilst supporting the successful delivery of construction projects. The Opportunity My client is an established contractor specialising in highways and civil engineering, delivering infrastructure schemes with a focus on safety, quality and programme delivery. As a Senior Engineer, you will be working closely with the site management team, providing technical guidance, coordinating engineering activities and ensuring construction works are delivered accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing setting out activities and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with construction drawings and specifications. Managing and supporting Site Engineers and junior engineering staff. Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and construction methodologies. Coordinating engineering activities with Site Agents, Foremen and subcontractors. Ensuring appropriate quality assurance procedures, inspections and records are maintained.
