Highway quantity surveyor (Part time)

Our client, operating in the highways sector, is currently seeking a part-time Highway Quantity Surveyor for a contract role in Buckinghamshire. This position is ideal for an experienced QS looking to balance work and personal life or for those wanting to continue contributing their expertise on a flexible schedule.

• Commercial management of highway maintenance and improvement schemes
• Cost forecasting, valuations, and change management
• Contract administration and commercial reporting
• Providing commercial advice and risk management support to project teams
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within highways or civil engineering
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts
• Ability to work independently and provide commercial leadership
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
