This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety and integrity of the highway network through the delivery of inspections, enforcement activities and responding to highway-related issues. The successful candidate will carry out routine highway inspections, investigate defects and support enforcement activities to ensure the network remains safe and well maintained. This is a great opportunity to work within a highways team responsible for maintaining high standards across the local road network while engaging with a range of stakeholders including members of the public, contractors, businesses and utility providers. The role will require travel across the network using your own vehicle.
