Are you an experienced Highway Engineer looking for a new challenge?

An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Engineer, with experience in highway design and construction to join a busy client in London. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £250 - £280 per day. Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Key Responsibilities:  
·To support the delivery of highways, traffic and transport infrastructure projects through the detailed design finalisation, pre-construction and construction phases.
·Receive projects that have been developed by the Project Development Team and assist in progressing schemes through detailed design review, construction package preparation and onsite delivery.
·Manage smaller projects independently and support Senior Engineers on more complex schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and in accordance with Council objectives, statutory requirements and industry best practice.
·The role involves coordinating technical, operational and stakeholder requirements to ensure successful project delivery through to substantial completion and handover.

About You:
Previous experience in highway design using AutoCAD is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Engineers & Project Managers with similar backgrounds across the South of UK - please get in touch to find out more.
