You''ll take ownership of highway design, safety and project delivery work, so the ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision is essential. Key Responsibilities ·Support the design and delivery of capital highway schemes of varying size and complexity. ·Provide highway engineering design, technical advice and project management. ·Develop highway safety schemes in accordance with DMRB and MMHW. ·Prepare practical design solutions against defined project briefs using AutoCAD. ·Project manage small to medium-sized highway schemes through delivery. ·Identify and manage health and safety risks throughout design and construction. ·Undertake highway safety and Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) work in response to public and stakeholder concerns. ·Liaise effectively with internal teams, external designers and other project stakeholders.
