Highway Engineer

An Established multi-disciplinary, working on major projects across the UK and Ireland is looking for a Senior Highway Engineer to join its Highways and Transportation team in North Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to play a key role in the delivery of major UK and Irish transport infrastructure projects, while progressing their technical and leadership career within a growing team.The role would suit a motivated professional with over 3 years'' post-graduate experience, strong design capability, and a desire to work on complex, high-profile transportation schemes focusing on multi-million pound design and build schemes.The Role You will work on projects such as:Highways and major roadsBridges and structuresBus Rapid Transit (BRT)Active travel (cycleways and pedestrian schemes)Public transport infrastructureProjects span the full asset lifecycle, from early feasibility and modelling through detailed design, construction support, and long-term asset management.Senior Highway Engineer ResponsibilitiesLead and contribute to the design of highways and transportation schemesPrepare detailed design drawings, specifications and technical reportsEnsure compliance with UK and Irish design standardsSupport project delivery to programme and budgetCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholdersMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellenceSenior Highway Engineer Essential RequirementsHonours degree in Civil ..... full job details .....
