The role will support the design and delivery of small to medium highway improvement and active travel schemes, with opportunities to assist major schemes when required. Key Responsibilities: Designing highway improvement and active travel schemes using AutoCAD and Civils 3D Supporting the project management, procurement and implementation of capital programme schemes Preparing drawings, technical documents and design information for highways and civil engineering projects Contributing to the delivery of small to medium highways schemes from concept through to implementation Working collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders Providing engineering support to major highway schemes when required Ensuring designs comply with relevant highway standards, regulations and best practice Maintaining accurate project records and contributing to reports and technical assessments Job Requirements: Experience in highway design or highways and civil engineering Good working knowledge of highway engineering...
