We are seeking two enthusiastic and creative Highly Specialist CAMHS ADHD Practitioners with considerable Neurodevelopmental CAMHS experience to work in the socially and ethnically diverse borough of Newham. This post is open to applicants from all core professions: Psychology, Family Therapy, Psychotherapy, Nursing, Social Work and Occupational Therapy.The successful candidate will be part of a stimulating multidisciplinary child and adolescent mental health team in Newham CAMHS, working with the Neurodevelopmental Team (NDT). This is a community-based post with professional autonomy and opportunities for supervision and reflective practice, including groups such as the Challenging Race and Inequalities group and service user participation projects. We encourage learning and access to CAMHS and NHS Trust training and accredited courses.Main duties : The post holder will conduct specialist CAMHS assessments for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, in particular ADHD, and provide evidence-based clinical interventions.About Us : Our mission is to make a positive difference by improving quality of life.
