      <description>Location: York | Salary: &amp;pound;110 - &amp;pound;120/day | Type: Temporary | We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a welcoming Primary School in the York area.   Key Responsibilities:    Deliver planned lessons and high-quality learning activities during PPA cover across Key Stage 2.  Provide PPA cover on Tuesdays in Year 5/6 and Thursdays in Year 3.  Create a stimulating, inclusive and safe learning environment that encourages pupil engagement and achievement.  Support pupils'' academic, social and emotional development through effective classroom practice and targeted support.  Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school''s policies and expectations.  Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance the educational experience of all pupils.  Provide feedback to class teachers regarding pupil progress and learning outcomes.    Requirements:    HLTA Level 4 status or relevant equivalent experience within a primary school setting.  Previous experience leading whole-class learning and delivering lessons independently.  Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, particularly within Key Stage 2.
