Higher Level Teaching Assistant - NottinghamAre you an experienced HLTA confident supporting pupils, delivering interventions and leading whole-class learning when required?Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Nottingham and the surrounding areas.Roles may involve PPA cover, short-term classroom cover, targeted interventions and supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.We are looking for full-time and part-time candidates, with short-term and long-term opportunities available.ResponsibilitiesProviding whole-class cover during PPA, meetings and teacher absenceDelivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining established classroom routinesLeading targeted interventions with individual pupils and small groupsSupporting reading, writing and mathematics across the primary curriculumAdapting learning activities for pupils with additional needsPromoting positive behaviour and pupil engagementWorking closely with teachers and senior leadersProviding feedback on pupil progress and learningRequirementsPrevious experience working as an HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant within a primary schoolConfidence leading whole classes independentlyAn HLTA qualification is desirable, although experienced Teaching Assistants with significant whole-class cover experience will also be consideredStrong classroom and behaviour management skillsGood knowledge of the primary curriculumA flexible, ..... full job details .....
