Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next rewarding role? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming Primary School in Croydon. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality learning activities across EYFS and KS1 under the guidance of class teachers.

- Lead whole-class teaching when required, covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

- Provide targeted small group and one-to-one interventions to support pupil progress.

- Assist in planning, assessing, and monitoring learning outcomes.

- Support positive behaviour management and foster a nurturing learning environment.

- Contribute to the wider school community, supporting enrichment activities and school events.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- HLTA status or equivalent Level 4 qualification (desired).

- Previous experience supporting learning across EYFS and/or KS1.

- Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach.

- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
