Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Sheffield

Whether you''re looking for day-to-day flexibility or a long-term opportunity, we''d love to hear from you.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Lead small group interventions to raise pupil attainment.
• Provide 1:1 support where required, including for pupils with SEND.
• Work closely with teachers to plan, prepare and assess learning activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.

• Holds a HLTA qualification or has substantial experience in a similar role.
• Has experience working within a UK primary school.
• Is confident leading whole-class learning.
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is adaptable, proactive and passionate about supporting children''s education.
• Has a good understanding of safeguarding and the Primary National Curriculum.
