Are you a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in early years education? We are seeking a dedicated HLTA to join our friendly and nurturing preschool team within our welcoming school in Hailsham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced staff in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 2–4 years, helping to create a stimulating, safe, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Role As our Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the planning, delivery, and assessment of engaging learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Lead small group and whole-class activities when required.
Work closely with the Preschool Leader, teachers, and SEND team to support children's individual learning and development.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
Promote children's wellbeing, independence, and confidence through play-based learning.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds a recognised HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience).
Has experience working within an Early Years or Preschool setting.
Has a sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
Is enthusiastic, caring, and committed to providing the very best outcomes for young children.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Can demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
