Higher level Teaching Assistant andndash; Year 6 classroom in Fareham
Start Date: December 2025
Contract: Long-term with the potential to become permanent
Salary: andpound;13.90 andndash; andpound;15 per hour (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Part-time 12-3:30 andndash; 17.5 hours a week
Location: Fareham

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HLTA to work in an Ofsted rated andldquo;Goodandrdquo; school with a fantastic reputation for inclusion. This role would include covering PPA and illness throughout KS1 and 2.

You must have an HLTA or CACHE level 3 qualification to apply for this role.

What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing

• Covering classes on a planned or ad hoc basis
• Providing EHCP support for those pupils with additional needs
• Teach booster sessions for those who need support to meet their academic targets
• Assisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs.
• Encouraging students to build independence, confidence, and resilience.
• Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment.
