About the Role
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in the HP20 area of Aylesbury, seeking a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team with an immediate start. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support pupils across the school and deliver high-quality learning in the absence of the class teacher.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2
Support individuals and small groups to access learning effectively
Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to adapt lessons for varying needs
Provide pastoral care and manage classroom behaviour positively
Contribute to maintaining a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Candidate Requirements
HLTA qualification or equivalent classroom experience
Proven experience in a primary school setting
Strong communication skills and effective classroom management
Flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
A genuine passion for education and child development
