A welcoming primary school in Aylesbury is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) starting in October. This role includes leading small group interventions, supporting whole-class teaching, and covering lessons as needed.
About the Role:
- Deliver targeted small group and 1:1 interventions across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Provide whole-class cover when required, ensuring continuity of learning in the teacherandrsquo;s absence
- Collaborate with the SENCO to implement effective strategies that promote pupil progress
- Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all children
The ideal candidate will:
- HLTA qualification and equivalent experience within a primary school setting
- Confident in delivering learning across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Positive, proactive, and resilient approach to supporting pupils and the wider team
