Higher Level Teaching Assistant Location: Surlingham Primary School, Norwich Salary: SCP 12 (£29,542FTE) 17 (£32,046FTE) PRO RATA SALARY £12,876 - £14,217 Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part Time (18.75 hours per week) TO START NOVEMBER 2026 We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic High Level Teaching Assistant to join our successful and welcoming primary school. The role will be teaching all year groups, under the guidance and direction of the class teacher, covering their planning, preparation and assessment time. Surlingham Primary School is a small village school located six miles south of Norwich, close to the River Yare and the Broads National Park. Within our school grounds we have a playground area and a large playing field. The school prides itself in knowing all the children well and making sure that each child is happy and challenged to learn to their full potential.
