SANZA Teaching Agency are working with a number of wonderful primary schools in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. They are looking to fill a number of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) roles to begin in September 2026.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work across the school, supporting in EYFS, KS1 & KS2.

You will cover lessons during class teachers'' allocated planning and preparation times (PPA), as well as covering lessons in the absence of class teachers.

To apply for the position of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):

• You will ideally hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
• If not, you will ideally hold a university qualification and have experience as a primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• You must be flexible and adaptable, and able to easily adjust to changing of classes and year groups
• You must have strong behaviour management skills
• You must have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• You must be able to build rapport quickly, adjusting to new students and classes regularly
