Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - SEN Provision Location: Greenford Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Salary: Competitive Daily Rate / Depending on Experience Start Date: ASAP / September Start Available Higher Level Teaching Assistant- Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist SEN provision in Greenford, supporting students aged 8-16 with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and can deliver targeted interventions, classroom support and behaviour management within a structured and supportive environment. Higher Level Teaching Assistant- Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality classroom and intervention support for students with SEN including ASD, ADHD and autism. Lead small group sessions and targeted interventions to support academic, social and emotional development. Deliver planned learning activities and cover lessons when required. Support students with emotional regulation, communication and social interaction skills. Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and personalised support plans. Use behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support positive engagement. Monitor and record student progress, behaviour and wellbeing.
