Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - SEN Provision Location: Enfield Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Salary: Competitive Daily Rate / Depending on Experience Start Date: ASAP / September Start AvailableHigher Level Teaching Assistant- Job OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist SEN provision in Enfield, supporting students aged 8-16 with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs.This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and can deliver targeted interventions, classroom support and behaviour management within a structured and supportive environment.Higher Level Teaching Assistant- Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality classroom and intervention support for students with SEN including ASD, ADHD and autism.Lead small group sessions and targeted interventions to support academic, social and emotional development.Deliver planned learning activities and cover lessons when required.Support students with emotional regulation, communication and social interaction skills.Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and personalised support plans.Use behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support positive engagement.Monitor and record student progress, behaviour and wellbeing.Support students both inside and outside the classroom to promote confidence and ..... full job details .....
