QUALIFIED HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is seeking a Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming two-form-entry primary school in Cheam, Sutton. The school is diverse and inclusive, with a strong commitment to supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs.The successful HLTA will support high-quality teaching and learning, deliver targeted interventions, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and assist with SEND, behaviour, and classroom management. The role is open to experienced HLTAs and Level 6 Teaching Assistants with a recognised qualification or equivalent. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location: Cheam, Sutton Position: Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant Type of Work: Supporting and leading learning, delivering interventions, 1:1 and small-group support, SEND support, and behaviour/classroom management Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full Time Rate of Pay: GBP115 - GBP145 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Recognised Level 6 Teaching Assistant, HLTA, education, childcare or equivalent qualification Previous experience as a TA, HLTA, SEN TA or Learning Support Assistant in a primary school Experience supporting or leading learning activities with individuals, small groups and whole classes Experience delivering targeted interventions and supporting pupil progress Experience ..... full job details .....
