Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Primary School Manchester and Surrounding Areas Full-Time and Long-Term Opportunities Aspire People Aspire People are currently seeking experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HLTA who has more than 6 months of UK-based experience working within a school and is looking for a rewarding role with the opportunity to make a positive impact on pupil progress. The Role: Delivering planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher Providing whole-class, 1:1, and small-group support Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs Covering classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 where required Supporting interventions in Maths, English, phonics, and other curriculum areas Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations Working closely with class teachers, senior leaders, and SENCOs Supporting assessment, pupil progress, and feedback Helping to organise resources and maintain a positive learning environment Supporting wider school activities, trips, and events where required The Ideal Candidate: Holds a relevant Level 4, HLTA, or equivalent qualification, or has strong relevant experience Has more than 6 months of UK-based experience working within a school Has previous experience working as an HLTA or in a similar classroom support role Is confident leading lessons and managing a ..... full job details .....
