This is a varied and rewarding role supporting a Year 4 pupil on a 1:1 basis, while also providing general classroom assistance and leading small-group interventions where required.This opportunity is ideal for a confident and skilled professional who can combine care, initiative, and leadership in a busy Key Stage 2 setting.About the RoleWorking alongside the class teacher and SENCo, you will:Provide 1:1 academic and emotional support for a pupil with additional learning needs.Deliver small-group interventions to boost confidence and progress across English and Maths.Support the wider class during lessons, transitions, and group activities.Assist in planning and adapting classroom activities to ensure inclusion and engagement.Model positive behaviour and act as a consistent, trusted adult within the classroom.Liaise with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure cohesive pupil progress.Ideal Candidate ProfileExperienced Teaching Assistant or HLTA, ideally with prior KS2 experience.Confident supporting pupils with SEN or communication needs.Strong organisational and communication skills ..... full job details .....
