Higher Level Teaching AssistantChesterfield (S41) 115- 130 Per DayFull Time Long-Term to PermanentStart: 5th October 2026Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a large secondary academy in Chesterfield (S41) to appoint a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support pupils within Foundation Learning. The academy supports students aged 11-18 and is part of a well-established Multi-Academy Trust. Working closely with the Foundation Learning Lead and teaching staff, you will provide targeted academic and SEND support to help pupils overcome barriers, better access the secondary curriculum, and make positive academic, social, and personal progress.Key Responsibilities:Work alongside the Foundation Learning Lead and teaching staff to support pupils who require additional help accessing the secondary curriculumProvide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND and additional learning needsDeliver interventions and learning activities, adapting resources and strategies to meet individual pupil needsMonitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff to help inform future support and interventionsSupport pupils'' holistic development, ensuring both their academic progress and wider social and emotional needs are consideredAbout You:NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, equivalent qualification, or relevant experience within education.
