Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Bexley - January 2027Location: Bexley, South East LondonStart Date: January 2027Salary: 115- 145 per dayContract: Full-time, long-term or flexible opportunitiesHours: Monday-Friday, approximately 8:15am-3:30pmAre you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take on more responsibility?Tradewind Recruitment is looking for confident and experienced HLTAs interested in primary school opportunities across Bexley from January 2027.These positions are ideal for individuals who enjoy delivering lessons, supporting teachers and making a wider contribution to classroom learning.The role may include:Leading whole-class learning during planned teacher absence or PPA cover.Delivering targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy.Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.Adapting activities to meet a range of learning and SEND needs.Maintaining positive behaviour and a productive classroom environment.Working closely with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress.Requirements:HLTA qualification or substantial relevant classroom experience.Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons to whole classes.Good knowledge of the primary curriculum.Strong classroom management and communication skills.Flexibility to work across different year groups.Previous experience providing PPA cover is particularly desirable.What we offer:Competitive daily pay, opportunities in local primary schools and the support of a dedicated recruitment consultant.If ..... full job details .....
