Salary: andpound;90 andndash; andpound;120 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
A welcoming junior school in Aylesbury is seeking a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team in January 2026. The successful candidate will support class teachers, lead small groups, and deliver whole-class sessions when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver learning activities to groups and whole classes
• Support pupils with varying abilities, including SEN and EAL
• Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy
• Support assessment and progress tracking
• Provide pastoral care and encourage positive behaviour

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or significant school-based experience
• Good understanding of Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Ability to work independently and manage whole-class learning
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
