We are seeking a resilient, empathetic, and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their specialist team.In this role, you will work with children and young people who have disengaged from mainstream education, many of whom have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or complex behavioral profiles. You will play a pivotal role in delivering targeted interventions, supporting classroom engagement, and occasionally covering classes to ensure continuity of learning.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver Targeted Learning: Support small groups and individuals with tailored academic and behavioral interventions.Classroom and Cover Management: Confidently lead classes and implement lesson plans set by teaching staff when required.SEMH and Pastoral Support: Build positive, trusting relationships with vulnerable pupils, acting as a supportive mentor to help regulate behavior and build emotional resilience.Collaborative Working: Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to track student progress and adapt strategies.Foster an Inclusive Culture: Create a safe, ..... full job details .....
