We place great value on our support staff, who play a vital role in raising achievement and supporting the development and success of our students.We are seeking a skilled and motivated Higher Level Learning Support Assistant to support teaching and learning across the College, with a particular focus on students with Educational, Health and Care Plans.You will work proactively within the classroom to support learning, deliver targeted interventions and, where appropriate, plan and lead English or Maths learning activities for individuals and small groups. Under the direction of the class tutor, you will be required to contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.A significant aspect of the role involves supporting students with a range of additional needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges, enabling them to access the curriculum alongside their peers and progress confidently towards adulthood.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality learning support for SEND students in classroom and workshop environmentsPlan, deliver and assess learning activities for individuals and small groupsProvide targeted intervention strategies to support emotional regulation, behaviour and engagementSupport the implementation and review of ..... full job details .....
