HV Engineer - up to 400kV North West / UK-wide travel Circa £70,000+ (DOE)If you are an HV Engineer looking to work on major high-voltage infrastructure projects across the water and energy sectors, this is an opportunity to join a growing programme of substation upgrades, modifications and reinforcement works operating to 400kV.Major infrastructure, varied projectsMy client is supporting significant HV upgrade programmes across the UK, including AMP8 works for in the North West and National Grid Electricity Distribution substation projects.As an HV Engineer, you will be working across a varied portfolio rather than being tied to one type of installation. You will be involved with upgrades and modifications to HV substations and associated electrical infrastructure up to 400kV.What you will be doingYou will support the safe delivery of HV projects from planning and preparation through to implementation and completion.You will be doing work including HV substation upgrades and modifications, supporting switching and isolation activities, coordinating with project and site teams, ensuring works are completed in accordance with relevant electrical safety rules and procedures, and providing technical input throughout project delivery.You will also work across multiple client and project environments, so you will need to be comfortable travelling to sites across the UK when required.What you will needTo be considered for this HV Engineer position, you will need demonstrable ..... full job details .....
