High Voltage Battery EngineerLocation: North West Salary: Competitive Salary + overtime Permanent RoleOverview:We re looking for a hands-on High Voltage Battery Engineer to work with EV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in real-world, safety-critical environments.This is a site-based engineering role, focused on diagnosing, repairing, dismantling, and safely handling high-voltage lithium-ion battery systems (400V 1000V+ DC). You ll act as the HV technical authority on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, compliantly, and to a high technical standard.Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, dismantle, and rework HV lithium-ion battery packs (EV and BESS)Perform HV isolation, discharge, testing, and fault-findingIdentify issues at cell, module, pack, and BMS levelSupport site-based assessment, remediation, commissioning support, and decommissioning activitiesAct as HV technical lead on site, ensuring RAMS and safe systems of work are followedWrite, review, and implement RAMS for HV battery activitiesProduce technical reports, repair records, and battery condition assessmentsSupport continuous improvement of HV battery handling and dismantling processes Essential Experience and Skills: Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with high-voltage lithium-ion battery systemsPractical experience with EV batteries and/or BESSProven background in HV battery diagnosis, repair, or dismantlingExperience working under formal HV safety rules and permit-to-work systemsStrong ..... full job details .....
