High Reach Forklift Driver

We are seeking a skilled High Reach Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating high-reach forklifts to efficiently handle materials, manage stock, and support shipping and receiving operations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, mechanical aptitude, and safety protocols to ensure smooth and secure operations within our facility. Responsibilities

• Safely operate high-reach forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse
• Manage inventory by accurately stacking and organising stock in designated areas
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying deliveries and preparing orders for dispatch
• Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and perform minor repairs or report maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel
• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accordingly
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques to prevent damage or injury
• Support warehouse organisation by maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow efficiency and meet operational targets

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence with proven experience operating high-reach forklifts in a busy warehouse environment
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshooting
• Experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving, and general warehouse operations
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
• Basic mathematical skills for measurement, counting, and data entry tasks
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding conditions
• Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
