High Needs Teaching Assistant Location: RochesterHours: Full-timePhase: KS1 and KS2We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate High Needs Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Rochester, supporting pupils with high SEN needs.The successful candidate will be confident working on a 1:1 basis and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.The role will involve:Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with high additional needsSupporting children across KS1 and KS2Helping pupils access learning and develop their independenceSupporting with behaviour, emotional regulation and pastoral needs where appropriateWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionalsCreating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environmentWe are looking for someone who:Has experience working with children with high SEN needsIs confident providing 1:1 supportCan work effectively across both KS1 and KS2Is patient, caring, resilient and adaptableHas a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsHolds a full Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBSHas excellent communication and teamwork skillsThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA, SEN Teaching Assistant or someone with strong relevant experience who is looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.PLEASE SEND UPDATED CVS TO YASMINE PITMAN AT ACADEMICS ..... full job details .....
