Supply Desk is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant primary school community in Chesham.

About the Role:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons for primary pupils
- Support the development and implementation of individual learning plans for children requiring additional help
- Provide focused one-to-one or small group support to boost learning outcomes and build pupil confidence
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a love for learning
- Contribute to lesson planning and confidently lead classroom activities when needed
- Monitor pupil progress and offer constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development
The ideal candidate will:
- Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or in a similar educational support role, preferably within a primary school setting
- A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and helping them achieve their full potential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Proactive, adaptable, and a collaborative team player committed to contributing to a positive school environment
