About the Role
This permanent, full-time role for a Hiab Driver is based in Acton and offers a competitive salary. Reporting to the transport manager, you will operate a Class 2 (CAT C) vehicle with a Palfinger crane, delivering materials to rail maintenance sites across London. Your primary duties include loading, securing, and delivering goods safely, using the stowaway hook attachment for efficient single-run drops. The position involves night shifts from 22:00 to 06:00, Sunday to Thursday, with optional weekend hours. A valid Class 2 licence and HIAB certification are essential, along with experience in manual handling and route planning. This contract supports a major rail infrastructure client, with rates between £20.00 and £30.30 per hour.

What You''ll Need:
- Full UK Class 2 (CAT C) licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Valid CPC and TACHO cards.
- HIAB licence with HOOK attachment; unlimited weight certification preferred-training provided to upgrade if needed.
- New drivers who have passed their Class 2 in the last 6 months are very welcome!
