HIA Surveyor

Main Responsibilities HIA Surveyor Oversee the Surveying functions required to manage the delivery of the service and ensure that the team delivers adaptations and home improvements on time and to budget.Ensure the team delivers Specialist Disability Adaptations including Level Access Showers and stair lifts and internal and external common parts adaptations including ramps and lifts in accordance with Legislation including the Building Safety Act 2022.Ensure that Descent Homes Works including addressing Dampness and condensation and disrepair are completed in line with Legislation including the HHSRS (Housing Health and Safety Rating System)Ensure that the service delivery is co-ordinated to include timely Pre, Mid and post inspection of works Ensure a responsive service to promptly address Repairs to existing adaptations including Leak DetectionCollaborate with the Home Improvement Agency Team Manager to implement and develop effective systems to manage the referrals to the service and to ensure the works required are carried out or programmed according to urgency and priority. Support and manage different types of work within the service, in response to the changes in the volume of work.
