This role is primarily focused on the maintenance and repair of a modern fleet of heavy goods vehicles and associated plant machinery This position is ideal for a skilled mechanic who takes pride in delivering high quality workmanship while maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair HGVs and associated plant equipment. Carry out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) on fleet vehicles. Identify and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults. Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and statutory inspections. Accurately record repairs, defects, and workshop time. Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant workshop environment, including adherence to COSHH regulations. Liaise with the Workshop Manager regarding parts and stock.
