HGV Fitter (Full-Time) Hybrid - North West EnglandWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation for an experienced HGV Fitter to join their team. Working HoursMonday to Friday6:45am - 5:15pm (10-hour shifts)Overtime and weekend work available as required The RoleYou will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a fleet of HGVs and plant machinery, ensuring all vehicles and equipment remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenanceDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faultsCarry out scheduled servicing (e.g. brakes, oil, filters)Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtimeMaintain accurate service and repair recordsSupport junior team members and apprenticesAdhere to all health and safety standards Key RequirementsProven experience as an HGV FitterStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsConfident using diagnostic tools and equipmentAbility to work independently and prioritise workloadHigh attention to detail and problem-solving abilityStrong communication and teamwork skillsFull UK driving licence (HGV licence required)Valid Driver CPCFlexibility for overtime and call-outs Salary and Benefits£50,000 - £60,000 per year (depending on experience)Company pension schemeFree ..... full job details .....
