Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Roll-On Roll-Off Driver to join our clients growing team working Sunday to Wednesday 07:00-17:00 paying £16.73 per hour from their site in Crew. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver who takes pride in their work and values safety, efficiency, and customer service and would be looking to progress into a fulltime position.Responsibilities• Operate HGV Class 2 lorries, specialising in Roll-On Roll-Off (RORO) operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards• Safely load, secure, and unload containers using appropriate equipment• Navigate routes effectively, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations• Assist with the manoeuvring of containers on-site, ensuring proper placement and securing during transit• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and any incidents or issues encountered during shifts• Comply with all health and safety policies, including the use of PPE and adherence to environmental guidelinesRequirements• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card• Prior experience operating Roll-On Roll-Off vehicles is essential• Good understanding of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance procedures• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading containers safely• Ability to work ..... full job details .....
