About the Role
Pertemps Milton Keynes is recruiting HGV2 Drivers (Days) for full-time, temp-to-perm positions in Milton Keynes, offering £16.64 to £24.96 per hour with estimated annual earnings between £43,000 and £56,000. This role involves working Monday to Friday as part of a two-person team, completing approximately four to five residential deliveries daily, including Central London routes. Drivers will operate a Class 2 vehicle, conduct multi-drop home deliveries, perform manual handling using specialist equipment, and ensure excellent customer service. Overtime applies after ten hours each day. Candidates need a valid HGV Class 2 licence, strong driving skills, and a professional approach. 🔹 The role:
You’ll work as part of a two-person team, delivering to residential customers with around 4–5 drops per day (including Central London routes).
Your duties include:
• Safe and professional operation of a Class 2 vehicle
• Multi-drop home deliveries
• Manual handling and use of delivery equipment
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Working closely with your driver’s mate
