HGV2 Delivery Driver

This vacancy provides just that, and it''s available to both newly qualified and experienced Drivers. You''ll be working for a global supply firm that is offering temp to perm positions, working Monday to Friday only!

Pay and Rotas:

• Job Title: Class 2 Delivery Driver
• Pay: -16.78 per hour, Overtime -25.17 per hour after 45hours per week (Pay is fortnightly on set pay days)
• Start times: 6am
• Shift duration: Generally a 10 hour shift but this may vary
• Rota: Monday to Friday only, no weekends!!
• Contract Type: Temp to perm
• Job Type: Job and knock - You are paid for the hours that you work only.

What''s involved?

• Driving a Class 2 automatic vehicle.
• Delivering kegs to clubs, pubs and restaurants across Northern Ireland.
• Completing up to 20 drops per day.
• Must be ok with some heavy lifting and handball as will be required to roll the kegs.
• Kegs weigh 50kg, if you have to carry them, it is between two people which equates to 25kg each.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Full training provided.

Do you qualify?

• Hold a valid Class 2 entitlement.
• Newly qualified and experienced drivers accepted.
• Hold a valid UK CPC and Digicard.
• Have your own transport to get to site.
• Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence.
• TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50, DR codes not accepted.

Training:

• Day 1 - Driving Assessment, highway code test and drug and alcohol test.
• Day 2-3 - Classroom based covering health and safety, delivery protocols
• Up to 14 days training (Dependant on experience)
