HGV1 Shunter

Streamline Recruitment is searching for HGV1 (C+E) drivers to cover SHUNTING work on behalf of our customer based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.

General details & requirements:

• Shifts will start between 15:00-23:00 and will be 8-10 hours in duration.
• Shifts will be Monday to Friday.
• Drivers will be using a TUG vehicle, so previous TUG experience is beneficial but training can be provided if required.
• Drivers will be shunting both trailers and boxes – again full training will be provided.
• You must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
• You will be required to pass an assessment.
• We will need to provide our customer with a 5 year work history.

Candidates must have the following documents:

• UK C+E licence – ideally with 1 year of practical experience but new drivers are also welcome to apply.
• UK Digital tachograph card
• UK CPC card

Payment information:

Please note this position is PAYE only:

• Monday to Sunday, first 8 hours - £21.40
• Overtime after 8 hours - £26.47
• 6th Day - £31.53
• Night Shift allowance - extra £11.76 per shift
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed
• Breaks will not be deducted from any shunting shifts
• Weekly payments every Friday
