Job description:

Trinity Business Support are currently looking for a HGV 1 shunter driver for our Washington based client.

Due to a new automotive contract win, our client now requires an additional member of staff to join their ever-growing team.

Our client is a worldwide leader in the parts industry who supply various automotive manufacturers.

Duties will include:

• Shunting trailers between two sites
• Using tug and tractor units to place trailers on docks and within warehouse locations
• Following site guidelines and policies
• Securing loads for transit
• Completing company paperwork
• You will undertake a two-week training, working with the driver trainer to learn all the fundamentals of the role

Hours of Work:

• Rotating days and backshift
• Days 06.15-15.15 / Backs 16.00 - 01.00
• The first two weeks whilst training will be on dayshift

Pay:

• -16.00ph Monday to Friday
• 45hrs paid per week
• Odd Saturdays (only on dayshift) may be required - overtime paid at -24ph

Additional Information:

• Start date is Monday 18th September
• New passes accepted - pending a driver assessment being passed
• All applicants will be required to undertake a drug and alcohol test
