Pertemps Milton Keynes is seeking HGV1 Drivers based in Milton Keynes for full-time, permanent positions. The role involves trunking and delivering palletised freight to RDCs across the UK, with minimal handball required. HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) - PM / Early AM Starts
Pertemps are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our valued client based in Milton Keynes, with start times between 20:00 and 03:00.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers seeking regular work, competitive rates of pay, and flexible shifts throughout the week.
The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections to RDCs across the UK.
Duties include:
- Trunking and RDC deliveries nationwide
- Palletised freight
- Minimal handball involved
- Vehicle checks and compliance with transport regulations
- Occasional nights out required
- 12-hour shifts
- Start times between 20:00 and 03:00
- Ad-hoc and ongoing shifts available across 7 days
- Night out allowances provided
- Immediate starts available
Monday to Friday Days: £17.10 per hour
Monday to Friday Nights: £19.50 per hour
Saturday (All Hours): £20.00 per hour
Sunday & Bank Holidays (All Hours): £21.00 per hour
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Flexibility with start times and occasional nights out
- A professional and reliable approach to work
