HGV Class 1 Drivers – Immediate Starts Available
£16.00 – £19.00 per hour
Trunking Work | Assessments Running Daily | Long Shifts Available
We are currently recruiting HGV1 Drivers for a busy distribution site. This is a fantastic opportunity offering regular trunking work with minimal manual handling – only the occasional need to move pallets.
Job Details:

• Mostly trunking work (minimal handball)
• Shifts average around 12 hours
• 7-day operation, with peak demand Thursday to Monday
• Drivers available later in the week will be prioritised

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months HGV1 experience
• No more than 6 points on licence
• No DD or IN convictions

Assessment Info:

• Daily assessments (unpaid), lasting 2–4 hours
• Includes theory, practical drive & sign-off
• Next-day starts available for successful drivers

Pay Rates:

• From £16.00 to £19.00 per hour (depending on shift)
