About the Role
HGV1 / C+E (Nights) drivers are required in Bedford for Pertemps Milton Keynes, supporting a well-known retail brand through peak trading. This full time, temporary contract pays £19.22 per hour, with shifts running Sunday to Thursday. Start times fall between 22:00 and 00:00, offering up to 48 hours weekly subject to volume. Duties involve trunking routes and Wag & Drag or articulated work. Applicants need a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and at least six months' relevant experience. Wag & Drag familiarity is preferred, alongside solid knowledge of transport legislation and compliance. Screening covers drug and alcohol testing, a theory assessment, and a driving evaluation.

Offering excellent rates of pay and regular night work, this is an ideal opportunity for drivers who prefer night operations and trunking routes.
What you'll need:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

- Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
- Wag & Drag experience preferred
