HGV Workshop Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Workshop Driver to join a busy commercial vehicle operation in Dartford.This is a key position within the workshop, helping to ensure vehicles are moved safely and efficiently around the site and returned to customers when required.The role would suit an experienced HGV Driver who is comfortable working within a fast-paced workshop or transport environment and enjoys a varied, hands-on position.The RoleMoving HGVs and commercial vehicles around the yard and workshopPositioning vehicles ready for servicing, maintenance and repairSigning vehicles in and out of the siteEnsuring vehicles are parked and stored safelyLiaising with Service Reception and Workshop Controllers regarding vehicle movements and keysReturning completed vehicles to customers when requiredSupporting the smooth day-to-day running of the workshopMaintaining high standards of safety across the siteThe site can become extremely busy, so you''ll need to be comfortable managing multiple vehicle movements throughout the day.What We''re Looking ForA valid HGV Class 1 licence Previous experience working as an HGV DriverNo more than 6 current points on your driving licenceNo DR10 convictionsA good understanding of driver regulations and road transport legislationStrong organisational and communication skillsA professional and customer-focused approachThe ability to use your own initiative and work independentlyWhat''s On OfferUp to 14.50 / 15 per hour40-hour working ..... full job details .....
