Our client offers a great team environment and has also just built a new workshop. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the company''s fleet 50 + of HGV''s (7.5 and 18 tonne)Hours Mon-Fri (phone number removed)pm + Saturdays available 8.30-12 noon.HGV Mechanic - Main Duties:Vehicle Inspections to DVSA and FTA standardsFault finding, repairs and servicing of commercial vehicles and trailersMOT preparation to DVSA standardsVehicle servicing to vehicle manufacturing standardsCompletion of all relevant paperwork ensuring that all work undertaken is compliantUse of diagnostic equipmentFollow all safety protocols and guidelines Skills required for the HGV Technician:The successful HGV Technician must be a fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City and Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair2 years'' experience as an HGV Mechanic (Post Qualification)High level of communicationBasic knowledge of computers and fleet diagnosticsGood organizational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlinesMust have the right to work in the UKBrake experience (training can be given)MOT preparation experienceModern mechanical and electrical diagnostics and fault-findingAccurate and timely defect reporting Benefits:Overtime20 days holiday + bank holidaysPensionPhoneUse of vehicle If you ..... full job details .....
