We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Trailer Fleet Company based in the Bedford area.

The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £44,000 with OTE of circa £54,000.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Trailer Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties of a HGV Trailer Technician for our client include, but are not limited to:

- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements of this HGV Trailer Technician vacancy:

- • Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles.
- • Industry qualifications (City and Guilds or NVQs).
- • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- • IRTEC accreditation (desirable)
- • EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO).
- • Welding certification (desirable)
- • Experience with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST).
- • Tail lift and double-deck maintenance experience.
