We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Commercial Repair Company based in the Manchester area.

The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £40,000 with OTE of circa £50,000 with working hours of Monday Friday, full-time.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Trailer Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Benefits within this HGV Trailer Technician role include:

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available
- Salary: £38,500 - £40,000, plus overtime at x1.5
- OTE: £50,000
- Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays – You can purchase an additional 4 days, totalling 37 days of holiday!

Typical Duties of a HGV Trailer Technician for our client include, but are not limited to:

- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements of this HGV Trailer Technician vacancy:

- Semi-Trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience.
- Industry-standard qualifications such as City and Guilds or NVQs.
- HGV Class 1 driving licence
- IRTEC accreditation.
- EBS diagnostics experience
- Welding certification.
- Experience with axle manufacturers
- Tail lift training and experience.
- Experience with double-deck or lifting deck trailers
